Recently having run out of Nan's balsamic vinegar I placed an order but had to wait for the delivery. Oh no, now what was I to do? I needed to search at my local grocers or Whole Foods for a substitute. That was a harrowing experience. I would stand in front of an array of vinegars looking, calculating age, viscosity, percentages, price, finally picking one of the pricier vinegars. My thinking was surely it would have some quality. HA! That was a mistake. I purchased, tried, and returned 3 separate vinegars and each was very tart, and sour and did not go down nearly as smoothly as the barrel-aged balsamic vinegar I receive from Nan's Gourmet Foods. I want to thank you for the quality of your product. It is smooth, sweet with just the right amount of bite.

This is the best balsamic I have ever had, other than that really old stuff I had in Italy many years ago.
I like to finish mushrooms with this when sauteing them. Also, a base for salad dressings, marinades.
I'll just dip bread in it all by itself.
I go to this one and your white b. with pear all of the time.
