Gluten-Free Italian Blend Penne
This delicious pasta is fascinating on multiple levels; not only is it the trinity of Italian flavor - tomato, garlic & basil, but the quill-shaped pasta is tri-color; the three colors match the three hearty flavors. This is our favorite pasta shape for many uses, from pasta entrees to pasta salads! We infuse this handcrafted pasta with the natural flavors at the time the dough is being formed, creating a tasty healthful noodle. For a low-fat heart smart option, drizzle one of our olive oils, such as our Sundried Tomato Olive Oil, Basil Parmesan Oil or our White Truffle Oil. You may also want to toss with tasty steamed or grilled vegetables, grilled chicken or even some fresh tomatoes to enhance the flavor of your finished dish. Nan's Gluten-Free Pastas are made with rice flour. Xanthan gum, an all natural plant extract, is used to bind the rice flour and the natural pureed vegetables, spices and herbs.
